Advocacy
We lobby and campaign for positive change in key Government policy agendas that impact disabled people’s daily lives.
This is done independently and as part of coalitions. Our campaigns have called for fairer fees, better workforce planning, and meaningful investment in sustainable social care funding

Vision and values
Our vision, ‘Great care. Great culture. Great places to live’
This guides every decision, ensuring compassionate, person-centred, technology-enabled services in environments that meet today’s and tomorrow’s expectations.
We are trusted for specialist nursing, residential care, and supported living services, particularly for people with complex and high-level physical disabilities. This expertise has shaped our identity for more than seven decades, and it remains the cornerstone of our future.
At Leonard Cheshire, we believe disabled people should be able to live, learn, and work without barriers. Everyone deserves the chance to lead an independent and fulfilling life, supported by personalised care, inclusive communities, and modern technology.
Our goal is clear: to help the people we support with complex disabilities live as independently as possible, in their communities, whether that be in a nursing or residential home or in their own independent home. Technology will be the enabler, supporting choice, independence, and wellbeing.
